This Privacy Policy explains how INTERRACIAL MATCH FINDER, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we" or "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use interracialmatchfinder.com and related apps (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: name or display name, email, password, date of birth (for adult age eligibility), gender, and self-reported location (city, region/province, and country).
  • Profile information: photos, bio, interests, relationship preferences, and anything else you choose to add. Some of this may be sensitive (for example, information about your background or orientation). You decide what to share.
  • Verification information: a selfie or a request for a video call with a matchmaker to confirm your age and that you are a real person (see Section 4).
  • Content you send to other members and anything you send to support.
  • Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number; we receive limited details such as card brand, last four digits, billing country, and subscription status.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, dates and times, and error logs.
  • Similar technologies (see Section 8).

Information from others

Reports about you from members, and information we use for safety and fraud prevention.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create and run your account and provide the Service, including showing your profile to members.
  • Verify members' age and authenticity and keep the community safe.
  • Process payments, manage subscriptions, and provide receipts and support.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, scams, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
  • Communicate with you about your account, security, billing, and changes to the Service. With your consent or where permitted, we may send marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Secure the Service and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use verification selfies for advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share information with

  • Members: Your profile and the content you choose to share are visible to other members as described in the Service. Verification selfies, email, and exact location are not shown to other members.
  • Service providers: Providers process data for us under contract, including Stripe for payments.
  • Legal and safety: We may share information where required by law or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of members, us, or others, including reporting suspected child exploitation or crimes to authorities.
  • Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred. We will notify you of any change in how it is used.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

4. Identity and age verification

Premium members may submit a selfie or request a video call with a matchmaker to confirm that they are 18 or older and a real person. A video-call request is coordinated by a matchmaker; the request form does not upload a video.

During signup, we use your date of birth to confirm that you are at least 18. We store the date of birth for eligible adult accounts as account information. If an age check shows that you are under 18, the attempt is not stored and no account is created.

Access to verification requests and submitted selfies is limited to admins handling matchmaker review.

We retain the verification record and any submitted selfie for 30 days after the matchmaker records a decision, then delete them.

Verification decisions are made by a matchmaker.

5. How long we keep information

We keep account information while your account is active. After you delete your account, we anonymize your profile and messages within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records, such as payment and tax records (generally 2 years), records of disputes, or information needed to prevent banned users from returning.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Access and update: Edit most of your information in your account settings.
  • Delete: Delete your account in Account → Settings or email interracial-match-finder@polsia.app.
  • Marketing: Unsubscribe through the link in any marketing email.
  • Request a copy, correction, or deletion: Email interracial-match-finder@polsia.app. We may ask for details to confirm that the request is from you. We will respond within 5 working days.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You may request to know, access, correct, or delete your information and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

EEA/UK residents (GDPR): Our legal bases are performing our contract with you, our interests in safety and fraud prevention, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where required. You may also object to or restrict processing, request portability, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information is stored in the US and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data protection laws from your own. Where required, we use safeguards for these transfers.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, and understand usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted access to verification materials. No system is completely secure, so please use a unique password. If we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and authorities as required by law.

10. Children

The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. Signup blocks anyone under 18 before collecting other signup information; underage attempts are not stored and no account is created. If we learn that an underage account exists, we will delete it and close it. If you believe a minor is using the Service, contact us immediately at interracial-match-finder@polsia.app.

11. Third-party links

The Service may link to websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. For changes, we will notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above shows the version.
